How often should you use cryotherapy?

Session frequency matters more than session intensity.

A whole-body cryotherapy session lasts two to three minutes, which makes frequency and not duration the variable that actually matters. Most people feel something after a single visit: a lift in mood, a reduction in soreness, better sleep that night. Those effects are real, but they are short-lived.

A realistic starting point

For a first month, two to three sessions a week is a sensible target for most people. That is frequent enough to notice a pattern rather than a one-off, and infrequent enough to fit around work and training. Athletes in a heavy block often go higher; someone using cryotherapy for general wellbeing often settles at one or two.

Timing around training

If your goal is to reduce soreness and get back to full intensity sooner, a session shortly after hard training is the usual choice. If your goal is long-term strength or muscle adaptation, it is worth leaving a gap after resistance sessions and using cryotherapy on rest days instead.

What to expect from us

We screen before your first session, stay with you throughout, and adjust your plan as you go. If a schedule is not working, say so; the right frequency is the one you will actually keep to.
